Fred Beck and Alison Jones are organizing another geologist-led Grand Canyon rafting trip in the summer of 2011, and would like an electronic show of hands from any who think they might be interested (

om”>ajones@clearcreekassociates.com or jameshallison casino fmbeck@fmbeck.net). A similar trip was attended by ~30 GSM members, friends and family in 2008, organized by Fred and Alison. Alison has also queried the Arizona Geological Society and 15 or so have indicated an interest, so it has the potential to become a joint (unofficial) Maine-Arizona geological societies trip.
