Events

The Geological Society of Maine organizes three events each year - a spring meeting, a summer field trip, and a fall meeting.  Visit the News page for information on the upcoming meeting.  When meeting registration is open you can sign up on our Upcoming Events page.

Spring Meetings

The spring meeting program consists of student research oral and poster presentations, with students from Maine colleges, universities, and high schools participating. Cash awards from the Walter Anderson Fund are given to the best oral and best poster presentation, chosen by a panel of geologists.
